Future parts might be a huge problem
Friday, January 17, 2020
Love the car however had the car for 3 month and a deer hit me. I have waited 2 1/2 months for parts for a front end damage. Parts are unavailable and GM said they do not know when they will be available. Asked the GM resolution department when they might be available. They would not give me an answer, I said could it be longer than 6 months, There answer was hypothetically they could be. GM did nothing to help me out. My insurance company decided to total the car even though the damage was minimal ($3500 head light assembly bumper, hood). I asked GM resolution department "do you have to carry parts for a vehicle for a car you produced 10 years after production. Their answer was NO. this car is wonderful, but it is a unicorn that might be a problem in the future for those who will find it a struggle to find parts or find them expensive because GM will not support this car. GM sold off Opel and now it will not import this model ever again.

Best car I've owned, by far
Saturday, September 21, 2019
I bought the Essence trim fully loaded about a month ago with 6000 miles on it and still got the new car warranty. The original sticker price was $38,000 and I paid $25,750, which feels like a steal. The car overall is amazing. Very smooth transmission, plenty of power, great fuel economy (I get 29 in the suburbs, 40 on the highway... no joke), great sound system and it's a hatchback! There are a few things I had to get used to but nothing is a deal breaker. The turn signal lever is VERY cheap. It creaks every time I use it. The sun visors are also on the cheap side. The start-stop function cannot be turned off permanently, but I found out if you shift into manual mode before you come to a complete stop, it keeps the engine running until you start driving again. Coming from a manual transmission this isn't too annoying for me but I could see other people having an issue. Lastly, there is not very much storage space compared to my previous vehicles. To summarize, I would not pay anywhere near the $38,000 sticker price, but it is a great car if you get a good deal. I wanted a car that was unique, fun to drive, looked classy and was practical, and this is exactly that.

Buick Shooting Brake

I really wanted a car,not a SUV and this Buick fits the bill, great value for the money, good driving dynamics like braking, power and cornering, the extra room in a wagon. I think the styling is great and you don't see them everywhere you go
