Exceeded my expectations

Tuesday, April 27, 2021

We were in the market for an upgrade. Small non Japanese SUV. We looked at BMW, Benz, Audi and Volvo. And then we found the E-Pace. The interior is so beautifully designed. The exterior is stylish. A ton of high tech features. The package overall is the best. And you do not see it at every turn and intersection. If you are looking for a unique car, go for the E-Pace. Actually, we liked it over the bigger F-Pace

Pitiful transmission

Saturday, January 30, 2021

I love the style, fit and finish. The transmission is pitiful in this price range. Significant lag from 1100-1500 rpm.

My Frisky, Gorgeous Feline

Thursday, June 03, 2021

After owning primarily Lexuses growing up and as an adult, after a long time with that, wanting a small suv - and something different - it came down to the XC40, Evoque or this. Well, my dad who loves cars - I do not like driving but ive been back in Dallas for 7 years and in Dallas you must drive something great. The car is beautiful on the outside and I see people at times give it intriguing looks bc you dont see too many of these out there. I got the gray with black leather interior - P250S model - with 1.5k miles CPO - right at height of Covid and got a terrific deal and the fact I have 98.5k, 5 full years (6 from the buy date the prior year) of bumper to bumper including new warranty - 4 years of maintenance/service...I wont disclose what I paid, but I came, saw, crunched numbers and drove home in two hours...two hours from ever being in one. The black interior...I thought it would be too much, but theres a cohesion and serenity to it when you step in. Bc of the textures and shrewd use of other materials it all blends for a very peaceful feeling. The others can be so busy. I feel calm in my baby every time I step in and shut door. I see SO MUCH about the plastic -- yeah yeah, honestly its fine. it doesnt bother me. Infotainment is fine too...id say less than 1% minor glitch but easily fixed. Sound: what a freaking sound system. its REALLY amazing...i have the meridian premium. and the car is surprisingly quiet and serene. Now, one big huge difference with Lexus -- yes, if the road is bad or bumpy you def feel it more as this is sportier or a pothole -- but i came from lexus and now its kinda just whatever. the a/c is amazing...im huge on that. German cars are terrible. I didnt think this would be like Japanese but they got it perfect. Cold on a 100 degree day in minutes. or use the app to pre-cool it for you. the app is great to make sure u locked your car if ur in ur apt Drive: again, im not a big driver...but...this makes you want to speed. this makes you want to do bad things...and it feels so good. ugh. but i only speed on the single or double lane express lanes and one time i hit 100 and was in disbelief bc u felt like it was 75. it roars out the gate but yes, in parking garage going really slow it does do that strange jerk ive read, but its fine. you feel empowered in this vehicle, like you're in one some secret that audi, merc, and bmw owners (sheep) havent picked up on. I LOVE the car. I feel like myself: a bit different than others, classy, fun, frisky and sep from the pack. The warranty allowed me to try this bc of the massively bad rep Jag still has amongst mainstream luxe drivers and they need to work very hard to fix that. So far, so good. I live in urban dallas so mostly its quick drives and its not great on that, but highway in summer it did very well when i drove to austin and back. City: 15 mpg HWY: 30 mpg
