I love the agile handling and the smooth ride

Thursday, January 10, 2019

Take a Levante for a spin and drive it then you will realize how different it is to drive, no lag in power and the interior is just beautiful with quality leather. I have driven and owned a porsche, audi and mercedes in the past. What I really love with the Levante is the power, sound of the engine, ride quality, reliability plus the option for off road, sports mode and manual mode. Also you will never get tired looking at it, it is a gorgeous SUV.

Incredible

I had a 2016 Ghibli S which treated me very well, but after having a few kids, my wife and I made the ill-advised decision to switch to a Volvo XC90 for the past 3 years. Well, mistake corrected. The Levante somehow manages to look and drive better than the Ghibli, while also being a supremely comfortable family car. Although you would never guess it from the outside, our childrens' car seats fit more comfortably in the Levante than they did the XC90. But, look, most of you are probably not shopping the Levante for its car seat space. And the good news is that it doesn't fail to punch above its weight anywhere else, either. I owned a 911 Turbo for 8 years and as mentioned above, a Ghibli for another 3. In one week of Levante ownership, I've already received more compliments and wide-eyed stares and thumbs up than I did in all my years with a 911 turbo and Ghibli combined. It is hard to overstate how visually stunning this car is in person (can I highly recommend the Grigio Maratea paint? Well, I'll do that whether or not I can). People's jaws just drop when they see it, and I live in Silicon Valley, where Ferraris and McLarens are not uncommon sights. I'm not suggesting that strangers will be running up to take photos with your car ... but I wouldn't completely rule it out either. And then let's talk about how it drives. Wow. Depending on which model you choose, it may not win a drag race, but you will definitely have a bigger smile than the other driver. I imagine that driving the Levante is about as close to riding a Kentucky Derby horse as one can get in a vehicle with four wheels and doors. I've only had it a week, so I'm not going to claim to know it's idiosyncrasies inside and out. But the Ghibli was the easiest car to own I've ever had - more so than even a pair of Lexuses - and I expect the Levante to be better than most in terms of its reliability and ease of ownership. The one downside: the tech is a few years behind its peers. No way around that. But who cares, you're buying this car to drive it, not for it to drive itself or to have the biggest video screen. The technology that is there works and is easy to use but you won't wow a Tesla fan or anything with it. You'll just have to be satisfied with having a much better looking, better built, and more enjoyable car for that.

Not for Someone who wants to blend in

Wednesday, February 02, 2022

This car is a real head turner, can’t pump gas without someone coming up and asking questions. Exhaust note sounds amazing, true Italian race car in sport mode. Great quality materials and bought extended warranty just in case. Haven’t had to use it. Nothing had broken (even small stuff) except an air vent in the rear that my adult child accidentally kicked. Replaced brakes once and just standard oil changes and air filter. Maintenance free so far. Not the best on gas, but at this price, if you’re worried about that… Doesn’t blend with all the masses and it always draws attention (don’t know if that’s good or bad) Great quality materials (red leather seats are amazing) shiny paint, still have original tires on the 21 inch rims. Rides solid. Everyone compliments the car on how “sexy” it looks. FYI I have a black exterior with red interior
