Great Tahoe car with pep for mountain driving
Wednesday, October 05, 2016
I commute back and forth from Reno to Tahoe City all year long. This car has been a dream to drive up and down Mt Rose on curvy fun roads. Surprising amount of room with four doors.

Love the car!

I brought my Mini Cooper Countryman ALL4 Sport from the original Mini Cooper dealership. The performance is great, especially if you get the Sport or the John Cooper Works models. I also really love how you can customize the car to make it more interesting by adding racing line stickers in the front or changing the mirror caps. Around 53k miles, there was an oil leak; I heard this was common in this car and by going to the Mini Cooper dealership, it wasn't a huge problem. Overall, I really recommend this car!

Not for Lovers of Cruise Control

This car (S model) has pep - lots of it. Six speeds give you all the driving options you could want. Zip around in the city, open it up on the highway. Countryman is surprisingly roomy inside, seats for normal size people with ease. Even roomier with bask seats down. Major pros are handling, the thrill of the drive (manual of course), and a great standard sound system. Negatives are ... non-AWD model is bad in snow, gas tank is tiny, and lack of spare wheel well is an inconvenience.
