To create the BMW i4, the automaker took a 4 Series Gran Coupe, stripped out the gasoline-fueled internal combustion engine and drivetrain, and replaced it with an electric powertrain. The i4 eDrive40 is good for 335 horsepower and up to 301 miles of driving range, while the i4 M50 boasts 536 hp and up to 270 miles of range. BMW says the i4 M50 accelerates to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. Four people fit comfortably, and the i4 carries ten cubic feet of luggage in its trunk. You can fold the rear seats down to hold more cargo when necessary.
