Used Hyundai Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid for Sale in Columbus, OH

More than 20 years after Hyundai sold the first Santa Fe in the U.S., the fourth-generation version added a plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) to the lineup. The Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid could travel short distances on electricity before a gas engine turned on to continue propelling the five-passenger midsize SUV. Hyundai based the PHEV on a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and the powertrain delivered a rousing 261 horsepower. All-wheel drive was standard. The official EPA fuel economy ratings in 2022 were 76 MPGe (battery and gas) and 33 mpg (gas only), with an estimated electric-only driving range of 31 miles. This capability did not come at the expense of cargo space. The Santa Fe PHEV carried between 36.4 and 72.1 cubic feet of cargo. A redesigned fifth-generation Santa Fe arrives in 2024.
