The Infiniti EX is a small luxury crossover SUV that was sold between 2008 and 2013. Based on the second-generation Infiniti G sedan, the EX has plenty in common with that G, including its design themes, dashboard, powertrains, and equipment. Essentially, the EX was an Infiniti G wagon raised for light off-roading duty. Early models wore an EX35 badge, signaling a 3.5-liter V6 engine. Infiniti called later versions the EX37 for their 3.7-liter V6. Rear-wheel drive was standard, with all-wheel drive available as an upgrade. Unfortunately, the EX offered little rear-seat passenger room or cargo space, and the model did not sell well. In 2014, the EX37 became the QX50 as part of Infiniti's sweeping rebranding effort that brought new names to all of the company's models.
