The Maserati GranTurismo is a four-seat luxury performance car available in coupe and convertible (sometimes referred to as a GranCabrio) body styles. It replaced the Maserati Coupé in 2008, and the first-generation GranTurismo remained in production through 2019. Equipped with Ferrari-sourced V8 power, the GranTurismo saw few changes during its lifespan. In 2012 there was an MC variant with added emphasis on performance, and in 2018 Maserati added tech upgrades — though for the most part, the car didn't receive many significant modifications. A second-generation GranTurismo arrived for the 2024 model year, but the Ferrari V8 power did not return. Instead, this GranTurismo features a Maserati-sourced twin-turbo V6. Shortly after the second-generation gas-powered vehicle launched, the GranTurismo Folgore arrived, heralding Maserati's entry into the electric vehicle space.
