LOVE it!

I am leasing my 2016 Cherokee Trailhawk edition. I absolutely love this vehicle. This vehicle dominates snowy road conditions. Except for needing to re-lubricate the sunroof seal I have not had one single issue with this vehicle. I get compliments all the time on it. No regrets with this choice.

My all time favorite crossover

Idk why this vehicle doesn't have better ratings; this has been such a reliable vehicle for our family! Bought brand new off the showcase floor, and not only have we traveled far and wide in it, we also use it as our daily runner. Out of the 120,000 miles we've put on it, it's only given us a few small issues: the summer of 2021 the radiator decided to leak when we were exploring through some Cali mountains on a 4,000 mi trip, so we put some stop leak in it and she ran just fine after. Transfer case went out a month prior to the trip, we thought it was the transmission because it wouldn't drive and we've heard that the lemons on that specific year of jeep have bad trannies in them, so we brought it in expecting to pay a fortune and were pleasantly surprised to find out that jeep had extended the warranty on the transfer case and that's all it was so they fixed it for free. We've had literally no other issues with it and still has all original parts otherwise. We did have issues with bluetooth and remote start at first, but with updates all these problems got solved. And with our roof rack on, it's very noisy and hard to have phone calls when going down highway. But that's not jeep, that's the universal roof rack we got.

Fantastic Vehicle With Few Issues!

08/18/2021

Fun, and safe ride. I have owned the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude V6 3.2L for 4.5 years. It was my first car. This compact SUV has been with me form 18 years till now (22 years old if you don't want to do the math) and it has been a pleasure. It has power, off roading capabilities and style. In the past 4.5 years i have had to: change the battery due to a "faulty cell in the battery" (@ 6 months of ownership), get a new "wire for my shifter" (4 years of ownership), get new suspension (3.5 years in- TOTALLY ALL TO MY OWN DOING), and change plenty of tires (ALSO ALL ME). This cars exterior is much sturdier than most Toyotas and Hondas I've ever tested and has 16 airbags for some reason. I have the Cherokee with the V6 engine, which has 271 horsepower (not 275 like a previous comment i saw) and is a fun ride with the perfect amount of cargo space. The back seats however, can be a little tight for some. I drive this thing to the limit alone and given how she has held up, I can not part with her. It wasn't the best price brand new, especially given jeeps depreciate right away. It is not kind on gas. The way I drive, I supposedly, (according to the car), get an average of 18 miles per gallon- mostly in city . If you want to change the spark plugs on your own, GOOD LUCK. (It is do able, when I changed those dirty things for the first time in my whole life, I was able to do it - Thank you Youtube. It was not easy, probably best to go to a mechanic).
