Love it but....

12/14/2022

Bought brand new. At 300 miles, I started hearing a clanging noise during acceleration @17mph and @25mph during decel. Took it to 2 dealers (first one is where I bought it 55 miles away but they said they didnt hear it, 2nd one in my neighborhood heard it and said its "normal"), finally a 3rd dealer diagnosed it as a failed transfer case and replaced it. The new transfer case was installed and the replacement made the same sound @ 17 and 25. Back to the 3rd dealer and finally 5 days later the trans specialist and "engineering dept" decided its a failed front end differential. Seriously??? I love the Jeep, everyone in the family has a Jeep...mine is the only one with a failed differential.

I love my Overland so far!

05/03/2022

I got my new 2022 Grand Cherokee Overland one month ago. So far, I love it. It drives incredibly well and very smooth but tons of power. The Overland trim was on the expensive side and you had to go with a lot of extras to get the ProTech package for the Surround Vision option. The self driving is great but not a good as my wife's Volvo XC-60. The panoramic roof is amazing. The air suspension that you can change from the driver's seat is ridiculous and awesome. You will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous Interior - Horrendous Mechanicals

02/18/2024

The Interior and electronics on the Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve are on par with the best that other luxury brands offer. The leather and real wood trim are refined, and the heads-up display is clear, sharp, and bright. However, the 4xe system does NOT work and is totally unreliable. We have had the vehicle in the shop multiple times, with the latest appointment taking three days. The dealer technicians worked with the engineers, and even after numerous software updates and component replacements, they couldn't get the vehicle to charge or even clear the check engine light. If you want a $86K luxury hybrid EV that can't take or hold a charge, then this is the vehicle for you.
