Incredible value. Premium interior. Fun.

Sunday, February 09, 2020

A fun, comfortable, great car. Interior has quality materials, tactile, and attractive. Driver and passenger room beats much larger SUVs. Ride is plush. Performance fine for all except sports car addicts. I look forward to every drive of this value-packed vehicle.

All the bells & whistles

This is the first new car I’ve ever owned, and with this model, it’s actually been a great investment. I love it so much, tho, I couldn’t imagine selling it.

Buggy tpms is unsolvable by dealership

Wednesday, October 05, 2022

There's way too much mediocre technology in this thing. I like the visibility and drive comfort, and 7 or 8 inches of road clearance is important to me, but the arbitrary engine start stop, the way the lane centering seems to grope from one side to the other, the constant bings and boings and flashing warnings that take my attention from driving and frankly terrible ergonomics is driving me crazy. I do like that they preserved some knows in the forester instead of the insane multi screen info screens in other models. And the mystery TPMS light. 12 (twelve) trips to dealership, all 4 sensors replaced, now the module replaced. It's destroying my will to drive, and I used to love driving. Subaru has a problem and I would not buy one until they rehab the supposed safety technology to make it less distracting and more effective.
