What you’ll learn:

• Cardholders can earn Capital One miles with purchases made using Capital One travel rewards cards, such as Venture and Venture X.

• Cardholders can redeem their miles with the loyalty programs of Capital One transfer partners for flights, hotel stays and more.

• A partner’s conversion ratio tells you how your miles will transfer to its loyalty program. For example, a 1:1 ratio means you’ll receive 1,000 miles or points when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles.

• Other ways to use miles include booking trips through Capital One Travel and redeeming miles for recent travel purchases.

If you want to transfer your Capital One rewards miles, you'll first need to create an account with a loyalty program. Be aware that the name of the travel loyalty program holder must match the name on your eligible Capital One account. 

Depending on the partner, Capital One miles convert at one of three transfer ratios:

• 1:1 ratio

• 2:1.5 ratio

• 2:1 ratio

Keep in mind that all airline and hotel loyalty programs require a minimum of 1,000 Capital One miles to transfer.

EVA Air Infinity MileageLands offers a 2:1.5 ratio. In this case, when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 750 EVA Air Infinity miles.

These Capital One hotel transfer partners offer a 1:1 conversion ratio. That means you’ll receive 1,000 miles or points when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) offers a 2:1 conversion ratio. In this case, when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 500 ALL points.

Eligible cardholders can transfer their rewards by signing into their account online or through the Capital One Mobile app. Once you’re signed in, you can select the View Rewards button and select the transfer option to start the process. 

Keep in mind that once you’ve transferred your Capital One miles, they can’t be transferred back to your Capital One rewards account.

• Buying gift cards: Redeem your miles for physical or digital gift cards from more than 90 brands, including popular restaurants, retailers and more.⁴

• Getting cash back: Receive cash back, either as a statement credit or a check.
