Quickly verify that it’s you with Mobile App Verification.
Download our app and agree to receive push notifications. That way, you can enable Mobile App Verification on your device.
Sign in and tap Profile on the bottom toolbar. Next tap Security, and you’ll see Mobile App Verification under Additional Security. This is where you can enable this feature and enroll your devices.
For this extra layer of security, Capital One will send you a push notification when we need to verify it's you. Open the Capital One app to approve the Mobile App Verification request.
What if I lose my phone?
If you lose your phone, be sure to remotely lock your device and erase your data. To do this for Android, use Android Device Manager, and for iOS, use Lost Mode.
You can unenroll a lost phone from the Capital One app on a different device. Go to Profile, Settings, then Security. From there, select “Mobile App Verification” for iOS or “Manage My Devices” for Android. Select the device you lost and choose “Forget This Device”.
