Fixing mistakes on your loan documents

1. Electronic documents

Please carefully review the document online before printing or electronic signing. If you notice an error on your pre-printed document or you make a mistake submitting your electronic signature, you can call us at 888-263-4582. We can correct any mistakes made in documentation before e-signing. If you e-sign your contract and later realize information was incorrect, contact us.  If you notice an error after e-signing, we will make the change on your behalf and send you a new contract to e-sign.

2.  Pre-printed documents 

If you signed a paper copy of your loan documents that you printed online or received from Capital One in the mail, avoid crossing out the mistake or using correction fluid as this will invalidate the document. If the documents are available online, you can just print a new copy to sign and return it to us. If you are unable to print out a new copy, feel free to call us at 888-263-4582 to request a new copy to be sent to you.

If you have already signed and you notice any errors on your documents, call us as soon as you can at 888-263-4582 to make corrections.
