Only payees receiving paper checks will see memos with your bill payment.

You can add a memo to your payment before submitting it to the payee.

 

If your payment is sent as a check (to a person or company), the memo will be printed on the check’s memo line before being mailed to the payee. If your payment is sent electronically, the payee will not see the memo. You’ll be able to view memos for all payment methods in your transaction details.
