With a Capital One travel rewards card, you can earn unlimited miles on every purchase. Then you can use those miles in flexible ways, such as transferring them to select airline loyalty programs.

  • Capital One cardholders can earn rewards miles by using eligible travel and business cards, including Venture, Venture X Business, Spark 2X Miles or Spark 1.5 Miles Select.

  • Capital One cardholders can use rewards miles to book flights and hotel stays by transferring them to participating loyalty programs offered by Capital One’s travel partners.

Capital One miles transfer partners

To transfer Capital One rewards, you have to have at least 1,000 Capital One miles and the name on your Capital One account has to match the name on your travel loyalty program. 

Depending on the partner, Capital One miles convert at one of four transfer ratios:

  • 1:1 ratio

  • 2:1.5 ratio

  • 5:3 ratio

  • 2:1 ratio

Capital One airline transfer partners

Capital One has a variety of airline partners. Transfer rates vary, depending on which airline you choose.

  • JetBlue offers a 5:3 transfer ratio. That means when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 600 TrueBlue points.

  • EVA Air offers a 2:1.5 transfer ratio. When you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 750 Infinity MileageLands miles.

The rest of Capital One’s airline transfer partners offer a 1:1 conversion ratio. When you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 1,000 miles or points from these partners:

  • Air Canada Aeroplan®

  • Avianca LifeMiles

  • British Airways Executive Club

Capital One hotel transfer partners

Eligible rewards miles cardholders can also transfer their miles to hotel partners.

  • Accor Live Limitless offers a 2:1 conversion ratio. That means when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you’ll receive 500 Accor Live Limitless points.

  • Choice Privileges and Wyndham Rewards offer a 1:1 conversion ratio.2 You’ll receive 1,000 miles or points when you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles to these partners.

How to transfer Capital One miles to airline and hotel partners

Eligible cardholders can transfer their rewards by signing in to their account online or through the Capital One Mobile app. Once you’re signed in, navigate to the rewards section button and select the option to transfer your miles.

Before you confirm, remember that there’s no way to transfer miles back into your Capital One rewards account.

Using your miles with Capital One transfer partners is one way to redeem them. But there are more ways to redeem miles, including:

  • Travel: Book flights, hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars through Capital One Travel.

  • Recent travel expenses: Get reimbursed for certain recent travel purchases or business expenses, including flights, hotels, cruises, ride-hailing services and tolls.

  • Online purchases: Pay when you check out at Amazon.com® or make eligible purchases at millions of online stores through PayPal®.3 

  • Gift cards: Redeem your miles for gift cards from popular restaurants, retailers and more.4

  • Cash back: Receive cash back as a statement credit or a check.
