Eligible Venture X cardholders qualify for Hertz Gold Plus Rewards President’s Circle® status. And eligible Venture cardholders qualify for Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Five Star® status. 

Whenever you book a Hertz rental with your upgraded President’s Circle or Five Star status, you can skip the counter and head straight to your car at select locations. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is an award-winning car-rental loyalty program with signature benefits designed to get you on the road faster and easier. As a member, you’ll cut out the rental counter at pickup and drop-off at select locations. You’ll earn Hertz points redeemable for free rental days and car-class upgrades. And you can add your spouse or domestic partner as a driver at no extra cost. 

Eligible Capital One Venture X cardholders are qualified to receive complimentary President’s Circle status. The highest level of membership, it adds even more perks to the signature benefits of the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program, including:

• The ultimate choice over what you drive. You get access to the widest selection of rental vehicles. 
• Guaranteed upgrades. You’re guaranteed a car-class upgrade at participating locations.
• Dedicated customer service texting line. You can reach a customer service agent with your rental-related inquiries.

Eligible Capital One Venture cardholders are qualified to receive complimentary Five Star status. The second-highest membership tier, it offers the signature perks of the loyalty program, plus:

• More choice over what you drive. You get access to a wider selection of rental vehicles. 
• Upgrades as available. You can upgrade to the next car class, if available, at participating locations.
• Dedicated customer service texting line. You can reach a customer service agent with your rental-related inquiries.

Accessing your President’s Circle or Five Star status is simple. Here’s how:

1. Sign in to capitalone.com or the Capital One Mobile app.
2. Click the Explore Rewards tile and select your Venture X or Venture account when prompted.
3. Select the Benefits tab in the top navigation bar.
4. Click on the Hertz tile.
5. If you’re an existing member, request an upgrade to match your Venture X or Venture cardholder status. If you’re new to the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program, fill out the enrollment form. 
6. Submit.
7. Receive your upgraded status in 24-72 hours.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards membership is available for all Venture X and Venture cardholders—including authorized users and account managers—age 21 and over. Just make sure you enroll through Capital One to be recognized as eligible.
