A Capital One Café is part bank, part café–all in one convenient and welcoming space. Come in for everyday banking, in-person support from Ambassadors and handcrafted beverages from Verve Coffee Roasters. The Café offers free WiFi and comfortable spaces for working, meeting or taking a break. Plus, all of our locations are open seven days a week with extended hours to support your everyday banking needs. You can even work toward your money goals with free events, workshops and one-on-one Money & Life mentoring. Visit any of our 60+ locations nationwide whether you bank with us or not. Whether you bank with us or not, everyone is welcome at our Cafés. They’re truly a community space. So, while they are not a traditional Chicago study spot, many local students appreciate the free Wi-Fi.

There's a lot to do at the Café. Get in-person support for your banking questions from our friendly Ambassadors, or apply for and explore accounts, products and services through self-service in a no-pressure environment. While you’re here, enjoy your favorite beverage and an all-day food menu. While not officially a Chicago study spot, the Café offers free Wi-Fi and comfortable spaces to get work done.

Account holders (18+) can reserve a nook—a private workspace with tables and outlets—when they’re in the Café or from their Capital One mobile app. When in the Café, visitors can scan the QR code on the door of the nook to access the reservation portal to complete their booking. Account holders can make reservations in the Capital One mobile app by searching for their preferred Café, viewing the details of that Café and selecting "Reserve a Nook" to access the reservation portal. Need to rent a meeting room in a Southport Cafe, Chicago? Most Capital One Cafés also offer a community room that can be reserved by non-profit groups, students, or alumni groups.

Yes, there’s a variety of food and beverages served  at the Capital One Café—including a full-service coffee bar from Verve Coffee Roasters, teas and more. The food menu features breakfast, lunch, snacks, and to-go items to keep you full while you sit and work or if you’re just stopping in for a quick bite.

Yes. Cardholders get 50% off handcrafted beverages every day when using a Capital One or Discover debit or credit card.  Account holders of any Capital One product (18+ years of age or older) can reserve semi-private nooks available within almost every Café.

Yes, through our self-service option, you can apply to open an account at a Capital One Café. Chat with a Café Ambassador and they can help you get set up.

Capital One Cafés offer a modernized, friendly approach to banking in a supportive, low-pressure atmosphere. While we don’t have traditional bank tellers in our Cafés, customers can get everyday banking done, even on the weekend at all of our locations. Ambassadors are on hand to assist you along the way with your banking questions, and can even help you apply for an account. Capital One checking account holders can use Café ATMs fee-free to check their balance, deposit or withdraw cash and more. You can also:

• Replace, reissue or activate your debit card
• Lock and unlock your debit card
• Change your debit card PIN
• Receive sign-in support
• Update account information like your address, phone number and email address
• Place or remove a stop payment on a check or ACH
• Request duplicate tax forms to be mailed to you
• Order a checkbook

Cafés do not have all the same services that branches do, so be sure to check what’s available at your location or call your nearest Café if you have specific questions.

Yes, there are ATMs available at all Cafés that are fee-free to Capital One checking customers. You can use them to withdraw cash, make cash and check deposits, check your account balance and more. Not a customer? There’s a small fee to use the ATMs.
