Capital One Databolt now integrates natively with AWS

New integrations enable companies to tokenize data across their environment with ease, speed and scale.

December 1, 2025, McLean, VACapital One Software, the enterprise B2B software business of Capital One, today announced Capital One Databolt now integrates natively with AWS to help enterprises securely use sensitive data for AI, analytics, customer intelligence and more. This integration makes it easier for companies to accelerate innovation while maintaining protection and governance across AWS services such as Redshift, Aurora and RDS.

As organizations expand how and where data is used, protecting that data while maintaining usability is essential. Databolt replaces sensitive information with de-identified, format-preserving tokens which allow teams to analyze, share and innovate without exposing the original data. Integrating Databolt with AWS offers customers a range of integration patterns designed to fit diverse data environments and that align with each service’s native capabilities—from leveraging AWS Lambda functions to using workflows and UDFs.

“AWS powers a significant share of enterprise data workloads in the cloud,” said Desikan Madhvanur, SVP, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Capital One Software. “By combining AWS’s elasticity with Databolt’s proven data protection expertise, we’re able to deliver secure data usability at cloud scale.”

Databolt is engineered for how enterprises store and use data in AWS, including:

  • Native integration: Secure sensitive data where it already lives in AWS, so teams can use de-identified data for AI and analytics without changing workflows or impacting performance and scale.

  • Flexible design: Extend data protection across complex ecosystems using flexible integration methods–such as UDFs, APIs and SDKs—embedding security into existing AWS data flows.

  • Trusted performance: Databolt was designed and built for enterprise-scale, high-demand workloads to deliver data protection that doesn’t slow down the business.

“By integrating Databolt into our AWS environment, Cync Software is redefining its security posture. Databolt helps protect sensitive borrower and portfolio data across every step of the lending lifecycle—from origination to analysis—without adding operational overhead,” said Prasad Alapati, President, Idexcel. “This partnership assures our banking partners that sensitive information is protected and governed consistently, while keeping lending workflows fast and flexible.”
