2025 Honda Odyssey Arrives With Aggressive Exterior Styling

Though not a clean-sheet redesign, the Odyssey update brings some new shaping and toning to the vehicle's body. Up front, that starts with a revised grille and larger black fog-light surrounds. The rear of the Odyssey has also been gussied up with a sportier appearance, including rear bumper reflectors that Honda said were lifted straight from the second-generation Acura NSX sports car.

The 2025 revamp also includes new wheel designs and two new exterior colors: Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl.

Honda Streamlines Odyssey Trim Levels for 2025

Honda has reduced the number of available Odyssey trim levels to four, down from last year's five. Additionally, the previous Sport model has been rebranded as the Sport-L.

The previous Odyssey EX is no longer available, leaving the EX-L as the new entry point to the model range. Carryover standard features from last year's EX-L include leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, Magic Slide second-row seats, and a power liftgate.

Improvements for the latest model year include an upgraded 7.0-inch digital gauge display and a larger 9.0-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Sport-L is positioned one level up and boasts several unique design cues befitting of its name. Unlike other Odysseys in the range, the Sport-L features darkened taillights, 19-inch wheels finished in Berlina Black, and gloss-black accents on some exterior surfaces.

That blacked-out theme continues on the inside with a black headliner, black pillar trim, and black leather upholstery. There's also red accent stitching along with red ambient lighting on the dash, footwells, and front door handles and door pockets.

The Sport-L also has two additional USB-C ports in the third row.

Stepping up to the Odyssey Touring nets standard satellite navigation, Honda's CabinWatch camera system, third-row sunshades, an additional third-row USB-C port, contrasting stitching and piping on all three rows of seats, and front and rear parking sensors. The Touring model also benefits from a new rear-seat entertainment system that features a larger 12.8-inch screen.

The Odyssey Elite is the most luxurious of the range with a comprehensive list of standard features that includes two-tone perforated leather upholstery with piping, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, an upgraded audio system, rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free power liftgate, and auto-dimming side mirrors.

Honda Sensing driver-assistance features are standard across the board, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high beams.

As before, all Odyssey models are powered by a 280-hp 3.5-liter V6 mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel-economy estimates are also unchanged at 19/28/23 mpg city/highway/combined.

2025 Honda Odyssey Receives a Slight Price Bump

The 2025 Honda Odyssey EX-L lists from about $43,000, which includes a $1,395 destination and handling charge. That's about $600 more than a comparable 2024 model.

Moving up the line, the Sport-L starts at about $1,000 more, the Touring runs around $48,000, and the top-end Elite costs north of $52,000.

All vehicle pricing includes MSRP plus destination charges (set at the time of publication), and will be rounded to the nearest thousand.
