The 2023 Solterra is Subaru's first all-electric SUV, and it's available in Premium, Limited, and Touring trims. All models have a fully electric powertrain with two motors and a 72.8-kWh battery capacity. The SUV produces 215 horsepower and provides up to 228 miles of driving range. All-wheel drive is standard, and this Subaru returns an average 102 to 104 MPGe. The Solterra has an off-road-friendly 8.3 inches of ground clearance, seating for five passengers, and up to 29 cubic-feet of cargo room. Driver aids including blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control are standard.
